Swap presets anytime from the admin. Each preset is a tuned system prompt plus a set of conversation knobs — you can see exactly what each preset configures and override any of it.
Lead qualification field designer
Add, remove, and reorder fields without code. Supported types:
- Text (short or long)
- Number
- Currency
- Yes/No
- Multi-choice (single or multi-select)
- Email (with validation)
- Phone (with validation)
- Postal code
Every field has:
- A prompt the agent uses to ask for it ("What's your zip code?") — or an auto-detect mode where the agent asks naturally.
- An ask ceiling — if the visitor declines twice, move on (we respect that).
- A revisit-at-close option — bring declined fields up one more time before closing.
- A priority — which fields are required vs nice-to-have for this visitor to count as a qualified lead.
Fine-grained knobs
Beyond personality and fields, you can tune:
- Verbosity — short / balanced / detailed reply style.
- Question pacing — one question per turn / mix questions with answers / batch qualification after the answer.
- Off-topic handling — deflect / engage briefly / escalate.
- Lead-capture mode — soft / balanced / proactive.
- Escalation triggers — when to hand off to a human (out-of-hours, specific keywords, frustration signals).
- Reply format — paragraphs / bullets / mixed.
- Closing recap — always / smart (only when useful) / off.
Different agents per deployment
Run different agents for different contexts:
- One for your hosted landing page (optimized for first-time visitors).
- One for the widget on your help-center page (optimized for existing customers).
- One per sub-brand, per language, per geography.
- For agencies: one per client, with independent personality, fields, branding, and knowledge base.
Each deployment's agent has its own config, its own knowledge namespace, its own analytics. One admin for all of them.
Custom AI system prompt (Business+)
At Business+, you can write the agent's system prompt from scratch. This unlocks behaviors the preset + knob combinations can't quite capture:
- Enforce a specific industry vocabulary ("always call them 'members,' not 'customers'").
- Implement a multi-step sales methodology (SPIN, Challenger, MEDDIC).
- Add guardrails beyond the defaults ("never discuss pricing; always redirect to a human for quotes").
- Match a named brand voice ("like a New Yorker article" or "like a seasoned paralegal").
We give you a prompt editor, a test-harness that runs a sample conversation against your prompt, and version history so you can roll back if a change hurts metrics.
