Wengrow exists because the tools B2B companies use to capture leads haven't kept up with how buyers actually behave. Here's the story.

Why this was built

Most B2B companies spend a significant chunk of their marketing budget driving traffic to a website. Then they lose most of that traffic to a static contact form that asks the visitor to trust the company with personal details before getting a single answer to a single question.

The visitors who fill out the form are the ones you already had. They knew they wanted to talk. They were going to convert anyway.

The visitors you're actually losing are the ones with a specific question. They want to know if your software integrates with HubSpot, or whether your service area covers their ZIP code, or whether your practice takes their insurance. The form can't answer them. The FAQ page doesn't quite cover it. They leave. You never knew they were there.

That's the loss Wengrow exists to fix.

The name

Wengrow is a family name — it honors a grandfather who spent his life as a builder, who believed that the work you put into something is a direct reflection of your character.

The name also carries a second meaning that turned out to be perfectly aligned with what we built: When Grow — this is the tool you reach for when you're ready to grow your business. Not someday. Today.

One word. Seven characters. Easy to spell in any language.

Today, Mike builds Wengrow alongside the team at Proksel Consulting — a group that's been shipping production software for companies that actually care whether it works in production.
